This project deals with the design & development of a theft control system for an automobile, which is being used to prevent/control the theft of a vehicle. The developed system makes use of an embedded system based on Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) technology. The designed & developed system is installed in the vehicle. I wanted to build a complete solution for a GPS vehicle anti-theft device, which would be: as cheap as possible; as complete as possible; as it-just-works-there's-nothing-else-to-do as possible; So I ended up building an Arduino-based solution that cost me a total of 25$, more or less. As you can see from the video, it just works! This project implements a Vehicle Tracking System using Arduino along with GPS and GSM modules. It allows tracking the vehicle's real-time location and sends this data to a web server for monitoring purposes. This system can be used for fleet management, theft prevention, or simply monitoring vehicle movement.
